Where Artists Gather

So this is happening Thursday. Returning to my hometown of Columbus, Georgia, where I’ll join with Paul Pierce, artistic director of The Springer, & the renowned Garry Pound, artist, to talk about what inspires us and how creativity takes form. This will be my primary book event in Columbus. So if you want to purchase a copy of CHRISTIAN BEND and get an autograph, come join us Thursday at Dorothy McClure Theater. This is free & open to the public. Bring friends. AP classes. This will be a freewheeling conversation with audience interaction.

We had a great visit last night at Hub City talking about creativity and how it takes shape and about the nature of humans.

It’s difficult during this time of chaos – news of war with North Korea, impending Irma, already devastating Harvey, the thought of ripping apart families through the implementation of laws, as if we are slaves to laws instead of laws being there to serve the common good  – it can be so difficult to have the energy to think of anything else.

But it never fails.

Sharing stories connects us.

It reminds us of what unites us, instead of what divides us.

So come share in this night of creativity and storytelling.

Bring a friend.

Ride your bike.

Or your scooter.

Or car pool.

See you there!

And a big shout-out to the ROGERSVILLE REVIEW for this fabulous article about my upcoming appearance there. Check out my calendar to see when I may be in your area. Meanwhile, if you want an autographed copy of my book and I’m not coming to your area call Hub City Bookstore in Spartanburg, SC, Page & Palette in Fairhope, Alabama, or FoxTale Book Shoppe in Woodstock, Georgia and they can make sure you get an autographed copy.

See you along the road, I hope.
