I can’t even wrap my brain around a million dollars much less a trillion.

Or forty trillion.

Which is what our current national deficit is. This is the credit card bill to beat all credit card bills.

This is the debt we are burdening our children and grandchildren’s grandchildren with. Meanwhile, Tim and I are at that point in life trying to figure out how to protect what we’ve earned in order to help our own kids and grands stay out of personal debt.

That oaf of a vice-president came out and said “Trust Us” Republicans have a plan to grow the economy faster than the national deficit.

Excuse me? Have you been to the grocery store lately? No,, of course Mascara James hasn’t been to the grocers. He’s too busy having military helicopters fly his son to a golf lesson. He likely has some private doing the grocery runs for him and his immigrant wife. Bet he threatened to leave her in some backwoods Appalachian coal town if she didn’t keep birthin babies he could cuss at when the president calls.

And we know good and well Oaf Vance hasn’t touched a gas pump since he cozied up to Peter Boy who has financed his loafish political career as Water Boy to Ms. Harp’s Elder Care patient.

Then there’s Senator Rick Medicare Fraud Scott who wants to blame the Democrats for the mindboggling debt, but the truth is a different matter. Here’s a look back:

Even the most rudimentary of math students could figure out that the greatest increase in the national debt has fallen under Republican leadership, in no small part to a bloated defense budget, unreasonable and unnecessary Homeland Security Department, and corrupt taxation budgets that have only served to widen the wealth gap.

Republicans don’t have much interest in helping out anyone who isn’t already in the upper tax bracket. They prefer to cater to billionaires and wanna-bes.

Which is why from here to November they are absolutely going to drill down on how much “socialism” or “democratic socialists” will bankrupt the country if people don’t vote for Republicans. Despite what history and the facts show us.

Republicans have told us for decades, throughout the bulk of my voting life, that there just isn’t enough money to take care of “We the People.”

It’s all a lie. There is always enough money for bombs and ballrooms. There is always enough money for tax cuts for billionaires and pardons for the wealthy folks who’ve committed fraud. As more than one legislator has pointed out Americans have had more than $1 BILLION stolen from them because Trump pardoned the people convicted of financial crimes and the restitution they were ordered to make.

So not only did they get out of prison, they were able to keep the monies they stole from taxpayers, except, of course, for the bribe they paid to Trump for the pardon.

But sure, keep voting Republican and fearing the bogeyman of “socialism” cause that’s working out so well for “We the People”.
