All my bags are packed

spring break

I am packing tonight.

Well, actually, I should say I am supposed to be packing tonight.

Or I will be packing tonight, as soon I as I get off this computer.

To say 2015 has gotten off to a rip-roaring start would be an understatement.

The first two months have flown by in a flurry of activity, and this week will certainly be more of the same.

I’m off on yet another adventure. A totally unplanned and unexpected but oh so very exciting adventure.

People are all the time stopping me around town and telling me what a glamorous life I lead. Most of the time they are absolutely wrong about that. The bulk of my day is spent right here – locked away in my office, books all over the floor, unfinished paperwork piled high around me, homework to be done, books unwritten, edits looming, phone calls unanswered, roots showing, legs unshaved, and eyebrows unplucked.

This week, however, if you were to stop me and say, your life is so glamorous, I might shake my head and agree with you.

But I wouldn’t tell you why I think that.

Not yet anyhow.

I’ll tell you about it soon, though.

In the meantime, feel free to share with me the glamorous and not-so-glamorous moments of your life.

Has God surprised you lately?

What chores are you not getting done in pursuit of an adventure?

Sink full of dirty dishes, laundry needs folding, but I just finished a good book, and we are getting ready to cheer on Aub at STUNT this weekend. Taking the whole crew and then some-that's bound to be an adventure. Nothing too glamorous though. And I like it that way. Be safe. Happy for whatever brings you joy. <3

Sitting here drinking coffee remembering my wonderful trip with my sister and dreaming about my upcoming trip with both of my sisters! And enjoying the post of a beautiful, talented friend. Truly blessed.
